What is the Best CAI for 17 SS Camaro?

Just upgraded to a 2017 50th Anniversary Edition SS Camaro. Had a Cold Air Inductions intake on my 15 RS. Just curious what everyone thinks is the best CAI for the 17 SS?

Thanks

Best performing or best looking? Best Performance goes to Roto Fab first then Cold Air Inductions second. Looks, IMO, goes to Cold Air Inductions.

I don't get why you want to do it, unless you want the looks.

While they claim a HP increase, I think most people who have tested before and after in the real world, got maybe 2-3 HP. The stock airbox does a great job on its own.

Here is the general mindset.

If you want warranty, remain stock or stick with GM only mods.

If you want to go fast, forget about warranty...

You cannot have your cake and eat it to.

Nothing will "void" your warranty but they can make it to a point where you will have to prove otherwise that the part at hand is not responsible for any associated failure and that will be very expensive with a Lawyer.

Explain how an aftermarket “CAI” makes you “go fast”?

By Go Fast I mean mod in general. It doesn't matter if its a S/C or a CAI, you're going to have issues with most dealers on any kind of warranty claim related to the powertrain and it will be up to the consumer to prove otherwise that the CAI was not the root cause which will be pretty much impractical.

Bottom line is, if you care about warranty, your only two options are staying stock or sticking with GM mods.

Wrong...

The burden of proof is on the dealer, not you...

I'm very happy with the GM performance version as it looks and works like the rest of them without any warranty questions. I did the install myself. Had a little scrap with the dealer about re-programming cost but I won after finding someone who could read the instructions.
