Turn by Turn Navigation through phone

I was looking through my radio menu options today and it made it look like there was a way to get turn by turn through a bluetooth connected smart phone. I didn't see anything in the owners manual about this.

Is the turn by turn GPS only an OnStar feature or is there a way to get this working with a smart phone?

I guess I could have sworn I saw something about pairing your phone for GPS or sending GPS instructions to the vehicle from the phone in one of the phone setup/bluetooth menus on the radio.

I wanted to do the same thing. I tried pairing my android phone with the GPS to use google maps and it did not work. Maybe with an auxillary cord?

I have the Garmin app on my BlackBerry, I'll give it a try on the Bluetooth connection.

I just looked at this again today and if you go to the Phone menu you can pair Bluetooth (phone) or Bluetooth (GPS)...

If anybody figures out what the bluetooth GPS does let me know.
