If you're comfortable eating the amount of food you currently eat you choose calory dense foods, this way youdon't need to eat a lot more, if you prefer to eat more you choose lower calory foods. 200 cals is easy, a tabelspoon of natural peanut butter or an extra yogurt with fruit can easily cover that. That's why people get fat, the small things can add up quickly.

Everyone's body is different, some people look at food and gain weight, some can add a little exercise and loose easily but food choices are not made just to loose or gain weight, eating right has health benefits as well. Look at it like this, food is to your body like gas is to your car. You can fill your tank with low grade gas and it will still run but it will run much better on high test.

It's hard to make suggestions not knowing what you eat when but if you are eating 6 small meals daily(you should be ) about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs appart and haven't cut calories too low, you should not have time to get physically hungry. If you are eating this way and have hunger pains, sometimes adding foods with high fibre content or using a soluble fibre suppliment will help. Drinking plenty of water is also helpful and should be common practice.

I'm feeling good. Yesterday was my 2nd day back in class. I'm still eating well. Now that the weather is improving and I can get out & be more active outside, I hope to see some good progress!

A couple of things that may be usefull. Right off you have no pre or post workout nutrition, this is important. I would have a protein simple carb drink post workout, 20 min after your workout protein synthesis is at it's peak so feed your muscles. Then I would eat lots of fiberous veggies with your meals. Veggies such as broccoli, asparagus, spinach, brussle sprouts are all loaded with nutrients and fibre but are very low cal, you would probably get tired of chewing before you can eat enough cals to screw things up. This may also help if you've plateud because the extra cals may jump start your metabolism again. The added veggies will help keep you feeling fuller longer due to the fibre. If after a couple of weeks you don't loose any weight cut back on the last two starchy carbs in the day and add more veggies. The other thing I'm seeing is there are no healthy fats, this alone could be the problem. Healthy fats such as natural peanut butter, avacardo, olive oil, nuts, fish, flax seed are very important parts of a weight loss and any healthy diet and also cut back on cravings.

No change this week

Sad, I wish I could get that 1 more pound
to put me over 20, but not this week

Not really upset by that, I've had pretty consistent
loss week to week - so one without won't derail me-
matter of fact I'm already looking forward to next
weeks weigh in Diets on track, working
as hard as I can excercising - can't do better than
that

See ya all next week

Thanks Bonnie. I really love the recipes you've posted. The stuffed peppers are one of my favorites This one looks great and the leftovers go right in the freezer and become the protein source for my meals

I'll get to 20 lbs - then the question is do I go for 5 more!! I think so!!!
