Nice ride. Also not a fan of the hood pins but just my personal taste.

So how did you do the hood pins? Just curious.

Nice SGM it's a great color. I did the rear black out on mine also you may want to consider blacking out the rear deck also.

Good looking car, but those hood pins will indeed wear the paint no matter the plastic coating on the wire or not.

Man that car looks sick for just having it for a week, I like the no badge look makes the car look so much cleaner and the color stand out more

Cool but not digin the hood pins. And those cables will take the paint off your hood.

I thought hood pins originated in the late 60s or early 70s for aftermarket light weight fiberglass hoods as a precaution to keep the hood latch from breaking loose and having the hood fly up during racing at hight speeds. Anyone else no the history?? |

When I was a kid they were using chains rapped around the hood latch with a padlock to secure the hoods. Whenever we would see a hot car going down the road a little bit of the chain dangling down from behind the grill we assumed they had a bad ass engine locked under the hood.

I'm always fascinated to see how people personalize their Camaros......
Camaro5FestII was a surprise in that people appear to be spending substantially more on personalization than they did on the 4th gen cars. Austin - I'll be in Powell/Worthington over the weekend (Mother's Day) - and will be looking out for you! ( I'll be driving "Helios" - a white SS convert with black side stripes.....)
