I guess they sound similar but I removed my resonators and installed a resonated x-pipe to kill the raspyness from removing the resonators so doing that kind of tamed my Gibson so I'm looking for something a little louder. I plan to add long tubes so i'm just trying to find a good exhaust that will sound good with a resonated x pipe, long tube headers and no resonators and I don't believe I can achieve this with the Gibson. The Gibson sounded perfect before I removed the resonators and I also read somewhere that it will lose the low end boomy sound with the resonators removed.
