Hello from Saint Charles Missouri - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

New member here. One week ago, I got a 2012 2SS with a manual transmission. I always wanted a big V8 with a stick shift, so now I have it. I have a 2006 CR-V for a daily driver, and a 2007 Yamaha FJR for some two wheel fun.

So far, I love this car!

Silver with RS package, and polished wheels. I call her "The BEAST".

Edited to add that I found it 50 miles away, and got it at $1320 off of MSRP. I feel that was a pretty good deal on a 2012.

pcrdude, CONGRATS......WOW, your profile has St Charles....I grew up in St. Louis......just on the other side of 270, down 70 a little ways.....small world.

oh btw......Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome, just wanted to let you know that here is a "ST. LOUIS MISSOURI 2nd annual "FALL MEET AND GREET" Oct 8th in St. Charles. I think they are going to meet up at a performance shop here in St. Charles and then go up the River Road.

I never got to High School when we lived there.....the area I lived in was the NORMANDY (high school) or Bel-Nor (thats the grade school I went to) area.....and we moved right after the 6th grade. which was 1969, ya I'm a old fogey! lol
