Quick steering wheel swap ?

I have a 1LT with no radio controls, I'm putting on a 2LT steering wheel which radio controls. Is the wiring already in there or will I have to buy something to make them work? I know would have to reset the bcm but didn't know about the wiring . .

Shouldn't need anything extra, because all the wiring should be there. Hope if you have an Automatic you got a steering wheel with paddles and if a manual a steering wheel without panels. Not mixed around. They should have at least been able to swap the control & wiring parts into your car.

I did the swap on my LS. The pig tail on our steering wheels only has the cruise control function. So you have to swap out the connection for the steering wheel. I wouldn't worry about it. At least it lights up.

Yea I have an auto and I got the wheel with paddles. They just couldn't get the radio controls to work. The cruise works but not radio.

I take it they did a PCM flash or what not for 2LT/SS for the steering controls.

Definitely have to have the BCM reprogrammed to make the controls work.
