Need Some Help On 2012 Black Rally Stripes

My dealer has tried to order my 2012 1SS, Black on Black with the Black rally stripes. According to him, the system will not accept the Black stripes with the Black exterior....the system will accept all of the other stripe colors except Black. He will contact the area rep to see if it is just a glitch in the system or what. In the meantime, does anyone know if the Black stripes can be ordered with the Black exterior? I know it could be done for 2010 and 2011 but am uncertain about 2012. TIA

Black with Black stripes is not orderable from the factory.

Alternate choices...have them ordered from the parts dept
of the dealer, and installed at the dealer.
or ...
go with an aftermarket company.

Or have them painted on by the dealer?
That would also allow you to choose the exact shade/hue/flat/glossy to suit your taste and make your car a bit more personalized.
Yes paint will cost more, but it'll last longer, no edges because they clear coat over it, and no issues with using polish or wax.

Thanks for that suggestion but I think I will simply go with the factory CGM stripes. I know the painted ones would probably be the best solution, because of the very reasons you mentioned, and I might end up there someday. I thought long and hard about the Black vs CGM stripes before I originally ordered the Black, so having to switch to CGM is not all that disappointing. Thanks again.
