Question for IPF s/c owners.

My supercharger will hopefully be arriving in the coming weeks according to IPF. I've done a little bit of research leading up to this install and aside from the draining of the catch can every so often, what other types(if any) of periodical maintenance should I expect after installation?

I personally dont have a ipf supercharger but i'd think changing your sc oil every so often and keeping an eye on the condition of your belt would be a good idea

The oil in the Vortech will need to be changed after the first 2,500 miles, then every 7,500 miles. I change mine every 5,000 miles with the engine oil.

Check the belt for excessive wear.

belt at 20k for maintenance, SC oil at every oil change to be safe, keep a spare belt and tools to change, just in case. Ever try to find a long belt when you need one... good luck.

Also get a sock for the SC filter, helps in the rain,

above all....HAVE FUN ....

Thanks for all the tips and suggestions. I know I can always count on the camaro5 faithful to help out... I will definitely keep and eye on that belt, and I'm already planning on keeping the tools and spare belt in a bag in the trunk, never know what to expect when you're cruising around.
