Line Lock / Roll Control

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Been thinking about getting one for my LS3 just for those rare occasions when I want or need to do a burnout. They are not that expensive, and save a lot of wear and tear on the rear brakes and driveline.

What do you guys think?

Works great for that or at the track...

Contact SJM (Steve) on this website. He sells a great 2010 specific kit.

yea i called him and he answered every question i had! really nice guy and polite to talk to! My line lock is on the way should be here any day now! cant wait!

can anyone post pics of where yall put the switches? Ive been debating every time i get in my car about where i want them. I dont want to drill any obvious holes but dont want the switch to be hard to get to either or in plain sight like on top of my center console! decisions decisions!! lol.
Also ive only found one vid on you tube about the line lock. do yall know of any or have any yourselves?

Man....how weird is that. I was just talking to someone today about trying to find and/or make some kind of a line lock kit for use at the drag strip. Then I see this.....

I might have to give this guy a call tomorrow and see about getting one of these and on a recommendation on where to put the button as well. I'm also wondering if there could be two switches...press once on a button on my hand to lock it....then have a micro switch at the top of the clutch pedal or something that would let it go when the clutch is fully depressed???? Something like that.

If someone installs this please post up pics of what you did.

Thinking about the activation switch on the side of the steering column, and getting an aftermarket shifter and knob with a lock and release switch in the knob so I can let her go and stay on the gas.

Problem is, I think that limits me to the shifter I can have, due to the knob with switch. And I really want thw MGW

I have the SJM line lock kit on my car and I got the switch that mounts inside my shifter boot. I have the M6 and it is kinda cool to have it mounted out of site. I just hold the button and shifter and release the button to disengage. Very simple this way. I mounted the activation switch inside my console along with the other switches for Nitrous and purge and bottle heater.
