Your car's running a little rich. This is normal - rich is safe but lean is bad [destroy engine bad]... so the factory tunes them a little on the rich side.

Thats normal, dont expect an exhaust pipe/tip to be clean from emission gases.

If your exhaust is producing black smoke, then yes, the ratio of Fuel to Air is much higher in the combustion cycle, and the Fuel tend to escape the combustion process in the chamber which results to this.

LS motors run rich like pigs, having some black stuff in the exhaust is normal :] Just clean em out with a rag wrapped around your fist at the car wash and you will be good!

Hmm, mine never has gotten that dirty but I do clean the tips everytime I wash it.

Very normal. These cars run a little rich anyways and that is soot and completely normal. Now go pedal to the metal without any worries

Mash the gas peddle to the floor more often and it won't build up as quick cause the velocity will keep those pipes clean as a whistle...Think you need to drive FASTER for less soot...yeh thats the ticket
