Ported Throttle Body & Error Codes

I recently installed a VMAX Ported Throttle Body and a VMAX Black Ice-olator. After installation I got the following error codes. After driving about 30 mixed condition miles. The codes were gone (reset). Is this normal?

Code PO122 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor A – Circuit Low Input
Code PO223 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor B - Circuit High Input.

Computer Learn

I understand the computer had to "learn" the new intake. But I was wondering if this was expected.

Yes although some have not had that issue. I had the same issue and just cleared the codes since then I've drove 1000 miles with no code or negative affect

Did you plug the harness back in? Sounds stupid but so many people forget.

Also whenever you disconnect the tb you get some error codes

Was the install done with the battery connected ? Typically you should disconnect the battery according to the GM manual when removing the throttle body or for that matter any electrically connected component.
Just reset the codes, it should be fine.

i got these error codes too. I took the tb out cleaned it, and unplugged the negative cable and plugged it back in several times for it to clear. It was good for about a week and a half. then i went on vacation for 4 days and came back to find the CEL on again.

I then did some more research and found another c5 member unplugging the + cable for the error code and leaving it over night did the trick. I did + and - cable for about an hr.. its been about 3 weeks 400+ miles and it has not came on back yet.

Its a great bang for the buck for the Ice-Olator and the throttle body on the LLTs!

The throttle body is just resetting its position.
