As a Red Wings fan, honestly a little surprised we won these back to back games with Gustavsson is net. But after seeing him play, I'm not nearly as worried as I was when he is in goal. Glad to see our power play kicking too.

Detroit has never (in my lifetime) relied on amazing goaltending... just puck posession. I am looking forward to Toronto's collapse this year, wondering when it will begin

Well Boston vs. Buffalo was a disaster! Elbows to the head and players using their sticks as battering rams will have Brendan Shanahan busy for a few weeks. He'll be dishing out suspensions like hookers giving the drip.

Didn't see the Senators handing Detroit a 6-1 loss coming but Alfredsson looks as confused as ever. I do believe the Wings will win the Cup this year so when they're done racking up penalties like it's cool we should have them re-organized and playing strong.

Somebody might want to let the Blackhawks know they have to play for 3 full periods, not 2 then stare at the jumbotron for 20 more minutes. They keep that shit up and the rest of the league will kill them off fast.

What happened to the Rangers? After 7 games played they have only 4 points! 2-5-0 and Lundqvist appears lost in space. I would like to see him bounce back.

A strange start to the season and the Olympics are right around the corner to goof it all up. Should be entertaining.

Ovechkin has 31 goals in his last 30 regular season games, the man is possessed once again. If the Caps can shore up and defend their own net that team will beat anybody.

I'm so glad hockey is back.

Hasek went to Detroit to win, they had a good team and he just added to a good line up. I'm not knocking Hasek but Detroit is a puck posession team no doubt.
