Kam Chancellor

I guess he's feeling even better, now that he's had surgery to fix a problem he's had for last 4 years.

If he's been playing a little hurt, I'm really looking forward to seeing him hit people when he's healthy.

Also, a quote:

""I do live in a dark place. People don't know it because I smile a lot, but anytime I'm on the field, I'm in a dark place.”

He definitely is a big hitter. I wish him well in recovery.

He's apparently recovered. The surgery was in the off season. Apparently this is the first time I hasn't had to favor his hip in 4 years, and said it felt so different initially when doing workouts in training camp.

More fines are pending more like it from NFL's stance.

They thought that last year too.

Until Kaepernick learns not to throw interceptions against the Seahawks, I like our chances

As I said last year, I won't guarantee we win the Super Bowl again this year, however I like the Seahawks chances again this year.

As far as the 49ers, they are already pretty banged up, have some suspensions looming...and that could cost them the season because the NFC West is a tough schedule this year. Going on history, we will split with them again this year, although if you look at that history, we've blown them out at home while barely losing each year in San Francisco.

Thing is, I love our chances against SF with Kaepernick vs. Alex Smith. Kaepernick is prone to BIG mistakes, and that has cost him each and every time we've played.

As far as other players, I expect Vernon Davis will do ok. He simply doesn't remember those hard hits, so why would he be afraid to go across the middle? No alligator arms there...unless someone has shown him the film.

Eagles fan here; I just know it's hard to stay on top in a super competitive division. You guys have an awesome rivalry, I just can't see you beating down the Niners again, they've been on that brink for few years now. A lot of parody in the NFL, injuries among other things can change the playing field quickly. Seahawks lost some members of the Leigon and a few skilled players. Sure you scrubs will still be right there, so I can't wait !!

I do agree in the opinion that we'll split the rivalry games. I'm a big fan of Russel Wilson and Skittles, but I do have to disagree that the hawks blew us out in the championship game. It came down to the one play that launched sherman's infamous interview rant. Had that one play gone the other way, it would have cost them the game. The superbowl on the other hand WAS a blowout.

I still stand by my statement predicted before the NFC championship game that that game in particular was the superbowl for me as a fan.

Yeah, the Championship game was the real Super Bowl.

I was thinking of a parallel between that game and the Super Bowl. 1st play of the game in the Super Bowl was a bad snap. 1st play of the NFCCG was a Russell Wilson fumble.

One QB recovered well from the early problem. One didn't.
