Anyone looking for Z/28 for a good price?

My salesman texted me earlier. They have a 2015 Summit White Z/28 with a/c right now down at 66k. He asked me if I knew anyone who would buy it if they took more than the 10k off its already at. Someone could get a great deal if they work on them a little. My salesman is great to work with and is a true car guy. He is always willing to make the deal. PM me if you want more info.

There are alot of cheaper ones out there. Seems like they can't give them away. I have mine at 60k and it has 81 miles on it and can't get it sold.

yeah 66k is the price listed but they need to get rid of it so they are going to go way lower.

Am I understanding you correctly? This Z28 is new and they might take $56k (or possibly less)? If not new, how many miles are on it?

No he was saying that they are willing to take 10k off of 76K, but might have a little more. I doubt they would get to 56K unless gm starts offering the 15,000 cash back (20%) again.

This is correct. It started at 76k they took 10k off and are willing to take more. If it was 56k I would have already bought it!

There is one for sale not far from me, it's a 2015 with 906 miles for $59K. Been for sale at that figure for 3 months and still no bites.

I'm waiting till next spring (april-may) to pull the trigger, can't drive it here in 3 months anyway.

Asking Price is too high IMO

I understand, but 66k is just too much. Heck, Bigtime53 has one for $60k with less than 100 miles on it, so I don't think 56k is out of the realm of possibility.

I also quickly checked cars.com and found 7 - 2015's with an ASKING PRICE of less than 66k and all of them had less than 700 miles.

Am I missing something?

You're comparing new vs used prices. Doesn't matter if it's 100mi on the car, if it's been registered, it isn't new. There are some who just won't ever buy used, and vice-versa, but obviously their reasons are quite different. I've done both, but there IS something about being the first butt in the seat.

Point taken and I agree with what you said about new vs. used, especially when you are spending that kind of money. I would certainly use the fact that there are several "low mile Z's out there" against the dealer when negotiating. And believe me..... It works.

(But I still say 66k is too much. OP can get it for a few thousand less.)
