Camaro Tracking, something not right???

I think Camaro Tracking site pulled a fast one on me. I entered my workbench number and patiently waited for any update, knowing that my TPW was Nov 2nd, I did not expect anything from Camaro Tracking until next week. Well to my surprise I received an update this evening, the catch is that the VIN doesn't make sense. It just doesn't compute with the sequencing, unless it's because my order is Canadian, but I don't think it should make a difference. Look at the VIN Camaro Tracking sent me...

1GNLVHED3AS101152

Any thoughts guys?

I just googled the VIN, humm CarFax is telling me that VIN

1GNLVHED3AS101152 is for
Year/Make/Model: 2010 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE LTZ
Body Style: 4 DR. WAGON/SPORT UTILITY
Engine Type: 3.6L V6 DIR DOHC 24V
Manufactured In: UNITED STATES
wowww not that there's anything wrong with a Traverse but it's far from being a Camaro

I figure Camaro Tracking doesn't work for a Canadian workbench number. Again we are SOL

but next week is built week and it should be home soon.

Something got messed up big time.... You shouldn't have a VIN yet for one thing.... And that isn't a VIN for the Camaro and the serial number is way off ....

You may want to check the order # you put in.... Could have mistyped it...

Hey Mario..this is Larry from Camarotracking....the order number you entered was NKNMJ8. This was in fact the order number assigned to that traverse. All we do is update from the data provided. What is your correct Order number and we would be happy to edit your data and correct the problem.

Eric ran yours twice cause you were one of a few that were non camaro cars.
Each time he entered your data in global connect the same vin came out.

Please advise
Larry

With the way the new site is, you can't put your info in unless you have your vin right? Or can you bypass that like before? Thanks.

cant get the window sticker or track the order number...Yeah that is more than likely it...good one Punkin. No way to do pre production tracking of a canadian vehicle. We can however do post production tracking so when you get your vin number add it in and we can help watch it all the way home...your order number if that is it has a strange coincendence with the order number of a american suv order...

you can track both pre and post production camaro's. If you only have an order number (pre production) just enter that...do not enter any data whatsoever in the vin slot (box) and register your email and you will be tracked automatically from then on. If you have a vin number enter that and your post production tracking is automatic from then on. Yep it does it all. There is a forum for assistance should you need it and the link is all over the tracking page. Larry

Hi Larry, after double checking it was in fact a mistake on my part. I entered NKNMJ8 as oppose to NKMNJ8. I must be getting old.
I corrected it and should be good to go now.

Sorry for the red flag, my mistake, your service is great and highly appreciated by all.

Cheers!
