Hey guys, so I'm putting a feeler out there to see if anyone would be interested in my 1LE. I love the car to death but an offer came up that I don't think I could refuse. I have the opportunity to get into a used 2017 ZL1 with 250 miles on it. I would sell my car for what I owe on it. If you're interested, please PM me for more details. I'm located in Charlotte, NC.

$42,2xx I think is what I owe. Has PDR, black bow ties, rock guards and the tow hook too. Just hit 1,700 miles

If you get an offer over 40K I would jump all over it, OP. Like it was said above, you can get a brand new one for a touch less than that and be OTD at the price you're selling yours. Why the ZL1? Just feel the need for the supercharger? Don't get me wrong, I love the Z....but would struggle to find opportunities to use the power difference I think.

Yeah, I don't understand "I'll sell it for what i owe"...as if that's a deal for the buyer? It's a used car, you should sell it for what a used 1LE is worth - sorry, nobody should care what you owe on the car, that's not how its works.

I'm not trying to be a dick, it's just come on man...so what if you owed $45K, that's now the market value of your car?

I bought my new 1LE at $41,700 - the MSRP was $46,900 - sorry, but IMO you are going to take a hit. My guess is at best you'll get $38 - 39K.

Yep sorry that you owe that much, but I paid less than that for my car brand new. You'll have to cross your fingers for someone who wants to impulse buy without researching values. Value is in the 30's. Unfortunately thats the price you pay to buy a new car then try to sell it soon after.

No need to be a dick guys, hence the title, "putting a feeler out there" to see what prices would be and such. I came here looking for advice, not to be ridiculed. And the ZL1 I was looking at got sold so there's no further discussion needed.

Sorry you got your feelings hurt. We weren't trying to be "dicks". Seemed pretty clear you were looking for someone to buy your car for $42k and you didn't ask if that was reasonable. So we let you know that you might be slightly disappointed by the actual value of the car.

I'm perfectly fine, I was just stating the fact that we're all here for the same reason, as enthusiasts and because we like our vehicles and to help each other out, not to be dicks to one another.
