headers install guide?

i should be getting my headers in the mail on friday. is there any DIY videos or article regarding install lt headers on v6?

OBX Long tube. I seen that short headers video on youtube. I was just checking if any LT videos out there. but I guess its the same thing.\\Thanks

The long tubes should be easier. My American Racing Headers were easy to install as they bolt up to their high flow cats and that bolts to my catback exhaust.

If you have the tools I strongly suggest removing the alternator which takes about 15-20 mins to take off and put back on. It will definitely save you some time. The passenger side header is a real PITA otherwise. The driver side should take you about an hour and the passenger side takes about 4-5 hours unless you remove the alternator. If you do that it'll take about 2 hrs if you're a skilled mechanic. Hope that helps.

with headers, shorties or long tubes, how often do u have to check and tighten the header mounting bolts?

Me and my buddy installed my bbk lt's last weekend and in total it took us about 9 hours without taking the alternator off, We installed headers, x-pipe, and axle back exhaust on the car. Plus it was the first time either of us had done something like that.
