I'm still there.....But I had a problem with my dealership. Not GM. Prob. has been fixed and I hope to start moving along. But the problem should have been addressed MUCH sooner at the dealership forsure. Perhaps I would have my car by now ? I'm pissed at that forsure!!! Nothing like having an R6P order and still sitting at 1100. Argh !

dealer allocations. I have three guesses. 1. Your dealer has or had no allocations. 2. Your arent as high in your dealer allocation list as they told you, or bumped your for somebody else. 3. Your dealer is closing and hoping they get your car before they close. Not GM's fault. Its either the dealers or yours for not getting the allocation

Nards444, If what you say is true, my dealer lied when he said he had one allocation in Oct, and lied that I would be number one, and lied when I asked them a week and a half ago if they had lost their Chevy dealership.

I hope that is not true, cause that is an awful lot of lies, from a trusted place of business.

Well thats what I would think, allocation is everything. Its all in your dealers hands until its gett to code 3000 or 3300 one of the two. Up till that point your dealer can make changes and switch the order that is orders go in.


Now the only way that he isnt lying is that his one allocation is maybe not till like AUG or SEP. Could be a possibility. I mean if thats the case he should have known or told you that. I wouldnt order from somebody that had just one allocation anyways.

You have never lived in a very rural area I see. Next Chevy dealer with an allocation was Denver.....165 miles away.... over MSRP at that.

If my dealer lied to me I will very upset, I've known them a long time......

Besides, don't the ads say "see your local Chevy dealer"...I'm trying to keep mine going.

Im not going to argue the fact with you, im just trying to give you answers. And its A he lied or B he has very few allovations and his allocations arent due in for a while. So if your so sure he didnt lie and you know there was low allocations why even post if you knew the answer?? Whether he lied or not, his allocations suck, and thats why your car isnt moving, i mean theres nothing else to it. And if i wanted something that bad driving 4 hours wouldnt be that bad. And Yes i have lived in a rural area.

not what I said. Its either one of those two things, sorry there isnt another answer our there to get your car sooner. Well i can care less where your car is, dont matter to me, just trying to give you information. What makes me happy is ill be driving mine before yours gets to the production line, should have done your research before you chose that dealer.

I am at 1100 ordered in jan and yes its GM fault also I am caught in a dealership that GM is closing due to G.M mismanagment

I ordered on 10/30, never changed my order and had a confirmed slot (allocation). I am still at 1100 as well.

Ill give you something for that. But GM is closing dealers that didn preform. But it is GM's fault for letting to many dealers open and having to many brands. How many times do you see two chevy dealers right across the street?

3/7/09 and watching others drive around in their camaros as i drive my safari van. Sold my 98 to help pay for the camaro out right. In one way, most of the problems should be ironed out by the time we get ours.
