Just installed Corsa catback!

Installed it in my garage using ramps and jackstands. Man did I get dirty too! From lying all over the garage floor to handling the stock exhaust, but it was all worth it! Took me a few hours, but then again this was my first ever exhaust install. The tips look perfect inside the outlets on the rear of the car, and I don't hear any strange noises. I have plenty of clearance on top of the Hotchkis chassis brace.

It looks great and sounds GREAT! I got it from streetsideauto using their 10% off coupon. Plus they are a upromise vendor so I got 6% more towards my son's college fund.

Just a note.. I wanted so bad to start it up with the exhaust dumping out right after the cats, but I didn't think the neighbors would have appreciated it at 1:30 AM!

Time to edit my sig.

Pics to follow.

This is the exhaust system I am considering installing on my SS LS3, as Corsa only lists one system for the LS3 (without ground effects). Did you leave the resonators on? Also, is the aftermarket chassis brace needed? I have heard some say this system is too quiet with the resonators on, so I guess I need to hear one up close and in person. I do like that this system is noted for not having the drone problem that others have. My car is completely stock, and too quiet, but I don't want it too loud, sort of in between.

Now I'm no expert, but this system replaced the entire system after the cats. It's louder, but not REALLY loud. That's what I wanted, but when I get LT's, it won't matter. When it starts up, it sounds MUCH cooler. The decel popping sound is more pronounced too. I like it!

My chassis brace is part of the Hotchkis Track Pack. It's just another suspension mod. You don't need it. Now I've only driven it one day, but inside the car, it's great, NO DRONE. I'd say it's definitely in between.

Oh, that is the only one they make for a V8 manual without ground effects.

I have the Corsa cat backs on my car and love it. Great sound under a load and absolutely zero drone. It is a fantastic system in my opinion. Super quality also.

I've had mine over a year now with 20K miles and it does get louder with break in. When I first put it on it was very quiet except for WOT.

Added headers 6 months ago and it's a freakin beast... defnintely not one of the quieter systems. I cringe every morning at 5AM when I crank it up to go to work.

Great choice,I got my Corsa from Streetside auto and my Hawk ceramic pads (front/rear).With my two orders I would recomend them and they have price matching.

Just did mine last weekend. Jack stands and ramps.

I used the stock brace and the LS3 doesn't have resonators. I think that was mentioned above.

I think it's plenty loud when I get on it. When I start it in a parking lot and it turns heads it's loud enough.

The best thing about it is when I get on it taking off or passing someone it's sounds great and once I get to speed, 6th gear 80ish 2K RPM, all I hear is the sound of the tires on the road.
