Benson is the same - $500 refundable and no mark-up.

dslimbizkit - ya the yellow camaro has been around, I think I'm the only one who hasnt seen it. I'm hoping Tag can find out if it will be in Castorville this weekend.

As for me - I"m in for some cruising! - but another SIM here - only a 1SS

I went with Freedom Chevy... it was $1000 over MSRP but they through in like custom stripes or something and 5 yr paint and cosmetic warranty, year free car washes, the darkest legal tint and some other little perks. Did anyone get anything like this? Oh and I talked to my dealer yesterday and they said that I can't change my order b/c our orders have been pulled for production already...

Yes, the 10 Camaro was at Biff's. The same yellow one that the GM field engineer has been driving around. He said he has 3700 miles on it now. Lots of good info from him.
I sat in and started it up. I felt like I was cheating on my ordered car! It's was good for me!

Lucky guy!! I got off work and zoomed over there but living on Culebra and 1604 didn't really help me. I was like 30 min late and it left!! I was so damn mad. There were alot of other nice rides though. I still haven't seen one in person.

Nope, nothing like that for me anyway from Benson Chevy. I got $1K down though...so not sure on the $500 thing as they told me $1K...maybe because I was first?

My order moved to 2500 event code today too...so in the hands of GM now!

The car is now in Dallas, his boss's are taking their turns driving it.

You Dallas folks need to keep your eyes peeled in the Los Colinas area.

Though it may be anywhere in town.

I went with Gunn as well and am #8 on the list. I received a letter from them last week that stated my order will be finalized by mid-April. I am thinking I will see my car by early June.

Hey guys, sorry to resurrect such an old thread. I'm active duty Army and in San Antonio for the next couple weeks for some training and wanted to see the Camaro in person. I just got back from Iraq in Feb and I'm stationed in Hawaii. Needless to say I haven't had the opportunity to see one in person yet. Can anybody point me in the right direction to see one in the area while I'm here? Any info is appreciated!

Tom Benson Chevy on San Pedro Ave has a V6 in the show room as of yesterday. It was sold but they said it would be thru Tuesday of this coming week.

I have mine if you want to see one...more than happy to stop by somewhere with her and let you take a look.

By the way...I was down at Biffs a couple weeks ago if anybody was there and saw a SIM 2SS/RS...had several folks talk to me but other than one couple...didn't know anyone.

When's the next deliver for San Antonio? I'd like to be there to see the next one delivered! We need to get going on that!!
