Question about exterior/interior color combinations

In a month or so I plan on ordering a 2LT Camaro. My choice for the exterior color will be "inferno orange" with the white rally stripe. I am wondering what the general consensus on this board is for an interior color. I want to go with the inferno orange. However, I feel I may get tired of this color after a while and maybe should choose the grey color. I feel the inferno orange interior to go with the orange exterior might make this a more sought after car years down the road because this color combination might not be as prevalent. Just wondering what others think.

I would go with the orange as well. Don't worry about what others may want down the road, make the Camaro yours and do what YOU think will look best. I got red interior leather seats to match the red exterior and never get tired of the color. Good luck!

You can choose the IOM interior match from GM, or you can get create and design how you want it to look. There are many options for leather made by places like Katzkin and you can also customize what you want the pieces inside to look like as well. Just my .02, but what matters is what you like.

I have another question

I have noticed after reading several posts on this board concerning build dates and shippment of fresh built Camaro's, they get sent out to have the stripes applied to the car. Are these stripes painted on or are they decals? I know, I can go to a dealer and see for myself but it has been a cold winter and I don't want to be a pain in the butt for my dealer until I'm ready to make the buy.

The stripes are not painted on...they're decals.

I think the IOM interior is awesome. I wouldn't not want to have it after owning it.

Most Rally stripes are applied at the factory. I ordered my Ashen Gray the first day the color was available and getting IOM stripes wasn't an option like it was for the '10s & '11s so my dealer put mine on.

I love that my stripes, brakes, and interior all match. The IOM interior works great with the IOM paint. The gray interior is too light, it would look "off" to me but get what makes you happy.

Yeah...I wouldn't get IOM with just any color. I have it in black with an IOM stripe. If you can get it in white, IOM, AGM, or black you'd be good. Yellow, red, or SIM would be awkward :|

Can you imagine Synergy Green with IOM

Our local dealership has been ordering stripeless Camaros from day one of 5th gens & they paint on the stripes. They do a great job. If you prefer paint you might want to check with dealerships in your area about this option. Then you can get them any color or style you want.

Same here. My summit white SS just wouldn't be as appealing without the bright IO interior imo.
I've seen several IO/IO combos and it can be a bit much.
Again, Just my opinion.
