Question 14 ss VS 14 Gallardo

SS making 640whp 614wtq
Gallardo is stock 560crank hp. Roughly 500-600lbs in weight difference.

Let's say it's a roll race.

I think that's enough power to beat a gallardo

I'm going with the super car. With that kind of power aerodynamics will come into play pretty quick. Also the Lambos transmission will shift 3 times as fast as the Camaros.

What speeds? Gearing will play a big role here.

You will destroy him. Gallardos are nothing special. H/C/I LS1 4th gens can run with them.... If you don't put bus lengths on him something is wrong with your car. You should be able to run with Aventadors at your level.

+1 on everything said above.
I'll take any Lambo over my Camaro now but once you get near the 650hp area, you can beat just about any of them from a roll. Id be more scared of a tuned up near 600hp Gallardo instead of the Aventador. The Aventador weighs just as much if not more than our cars and supposedly dyno high 500s. OP would absolutely destroy a stock Gallardo

Depends on the year of the Gallardo. The first few years of the Gallardo were actual 6 sp gear boxes before they switched over to the paddle shifting

I agree...I raced a new audi r8 v8. I beat him by a car length. But I did notice in the last part of the track he was starting to gain on me.

Gallardo's run like a low 12 sec time.

if your at 650 wheel your going to destroy that car.

Unless you guys go from a dig and that point its all dependent on how you hook up.

The more recent, higher HP versions run mid-11s with mid-120mph trap speeds. They are nothing to sneeze at, especially up top. Gearing and aero make a huge difference at higher speeds.

Im rooting for the Camaro, but I think the Lambo will be a fight. 3042 pound curb weight with 560 Horsepower is a power to weight ratio of 5.43 lbs per HP. Estimating you at 4,050 with all your hardware and 700 crank HP is a power to weight ratio of 5.78 lbs per HP. Over 90% of all Gallardo's were automated clutch transmissions, so shifts will be lightning quick. Gearing is very aggressive on them also, with wedge shaped body aerodynamics helps their top end, and AWD will give them a traction advantage.

Power to weight: Lambo
Transmission: lambo
Gearing:Lambo
Traction: lambo
Aerodynamics: lambo
Overall badass: Camaro

I think you can pull a win though, and to see the look on their face when they are looking at Camaro taillights. Just remember the Lambo will put up one hell of a fight.
