sad :(

i am sad to say that after an amazing year that i am selling me baby. its just time to get something that doesnt always breakdown on me. i'm really sad just thinking about the fact that i'm goin to sell my car. we have been through so much. i have put alot of time in her. the part that sucks is that all that time and money i put in i would ever get back out of it. my baby is a 1996 white camaro with a 3.8. when i first got her she had a random miss fire. i tried everything i could think of to fix it, but it didnt work two weeks later the motor locked up. so i was out a car once again. then i came across a 2000 v6 camaro that ran but was wreaked, so i bought it thinking that i could take the motor out of it and put it in mine. well at that time i didnt have the money to switch the motors out, so i took the 1996 front end and put it on the 200 for a car to drive to work. the great thing about wreaked cars is they have low miles. when i got the 2000 in july last year it had 74,xxx on it. well aug. came around and i had the money so it took me a week to put the motor in my 96. it start with 167,xxx on the 96 and 76,xxx on the motor. i was loving it. it was faster then before. then in december i deside it was time to up the gears, so i got a rear end out of a 96 z28 and put that in. so it had 3.23 with posi and 4 wheel disk brakes. the car is great. then a month ago i need new manifolds. so i put pacesetter headers on her and she sounds great. and now she is at 192,xxx. i have put alot of miles on her since aug. of last year. yea the little break downs are stupid little things but i think it is time to start on something new. i'm goin to miss her. i just thought i would share my time with my baby with you guys.

Some good times for sure. I lost my first Camaro (1980 Z28) to my ex-husband casue he had a motorcycle and I had two cars (Z28 was stored in the winters). He still has it and it's an absolute piece of S#&$ (just like him)..

Here's hoping you get another Camaro.. My 2010 is the best car I've ever had (350Z is a close 2nd).. Good Luck.

i feel your pain. but sometimes we gata part with these awesome cars because of our situations. i think since all fbodies are getting so old to the point where only people with money enough to restore these cars can only really fully enjoy them for a long time. the wrx is a pretty cool car. my cusin in puerto rico has one and it was pretty awesome going through the mountains. it was also pretty awesome seeing camaros over there. dont worry, one day maybe you can own an fbod or a brand new camaro.

That's not a bad choice for a Camaro. The 30th Anniversary cars were absolute beauties.
I'm sorry you have to sell your baby. It's never easy letting go of something you love.

If your cousin ever needs parts for the WRX- we at Import Image Racing are one of the largest dealers for all models. He can call for parts and tell hm to ask for Mike and I can get him some better deals. We also ship worldwide, and can take care of hm.

to the OP--- How much are you looking to sell it for- hardtop or t-top? pics.
