If the Chicago contingent wants to be there before 4 LOCAL time, we'll want to leave before noon. (3 hours drive time + 1 hour time difference) There's supposed to be "something" happening at 4ish to kick things off... I was thinking about leaving at 10:30-11 ish, which would give time to get in, get checked in, and clean up the car....

Perhaps we should start a separate Chicago area meet point caravan thread?

C5G generally meets at the Westin in Itasca, then picks up others along the highway towards our destination. We'll set up predetermined meet points on highway ramps and we use ch. 5 on our radios.

I would suspect that if we are going to meet with anybody coming from the west, via I-80, we could meet at the South Holland Oasis on 80 (last oasis before the sate line) like we did for BBOMG 3.

Looks like we will have to pick up a radio, so we can chat on the way. We are off 80 & where 57 hook up, so we can hook up with you anywhere south of that. Looking forward to meeting all you guys and hanging out !
