Which Drag Radials & Rims to use ???
I'm sure these questions have been asked 1000 times.
What drag radials would/do you use on stock 20' camaro rims? Next question. What size aftermarket/ or stock rims and drag tires will fit nice an snug in the rear quarters of my 2SS ? Remember we have huge rear brakes. used corvette rims might be an idea. Send some links or rims & tires please !! Multiple opinions are welcome !! Innovative ideas welcome !! Don't be shy !!

Look for a rim with a +40mm offset. Rear rotors are 14.1" so I don't think you could go with anything smaller than a 17" rim.
Slap on some Nitto's or MT Drag radial's and hope your axle's can take it.

with a 18" z06 wheel, i'd run either the BFG 275/35/18 drag radial or the Mickey Thompson 265/40/18 drag radial. That's assuming you aren't doing gears and not going crazy with the mods any time soon.
it will look funny... but you are at the dragstrip... function > form

I'm lookin for all different types of options, so all of your ideas are good. What about something for the stock 20' camaro rear rims? And if you have any more non-stock rim ideas add them too? Looks can be taken into consideration. So lets stay on track stock rims and non-stock rim options.

Drag Radials
I think I'm going to get an extra 2 of the stock camaro rims for the look to be the same.
And use Nitto's 275/40/20 555R Drag Radial NT-180-730 Then swap them when I go to the dragway. Will these hook up better than the stock Perelli's?? Is my idea worth the $$$$ ??? Is my axle gonna blow up ?? http://www.lethalperformance.com/tir...radial-p-33456

ur axle won't blow up
i dont think that idea is worth your money... those will barely, if even, hook better than the stock tires. you can also use the stock c6 wheels, just have to use a spacer as well There really is no selection for drag tires for a 20" wheel. The nitto 555rs suck. period. There is a 315/35/20 nitto nt05R. would be kind of iffy on putting that on a 9" wheel though

There are some other sizes for these tires what size are the c6 rims? aren't they different front and rear? can I use either c6 front or c6 rear rims on the back of my camaro ss??? If I got some factory camaro rear rims widened to 10.5 do you think they would rub on the fenders or wheel wells ??

Stock 20" rims are over 35lbs. You can save serious weight on each corner by swapping out to skinnys on the front and 18-19's on the rear that are only 20ish pounds. Easy way to drop 60+ pounds and pick up some extra power/speed.
Smaller tires can have the same effect as a gear change too.

The manufacturer recommends atleast a 10.5" wheel. Sometimes you can get away with less. It's on you if you want to take that risk. I have a friend that runs a 315 35 17 on a 9.5" wheel.
c6 wheels are the same size, just different offset... hence why you need the spacer. and you want the fronts.

I've run these tires on several of my cars. They hook up pretty well. There are other drag radials that work better, but they don't come in sizes that fit the stock rims. You just need to heat them up with a good burnout. |

I use M&H racemaster 275/45/R18 drag radials on z06 wheels with 40mm offset. Just make sure you tie back the handbrake cable with tiwraps or it will rub. 1.64 60's at 11.66 with an A6
