Well my worries are over... I switched my stripes to CGM,
I thought the gray matches the gray on the seat sides and backs on the Orange accented interior better than the black Rallys. And since I switched my interior from black to orange accent...it was a no brainer.
No more dealer installed stripes to give me restless nights

Good for you 3 SS's. Personally, I would have stayed with the black stripes for a bit more contrast on the bright orange, but as long as you're happy....and I'll admitt, the dealer install quality might be questionable.

Looks like all back stripes will be matte finish, not glossy.

^ Let's wait until Diller has his hands on the stripes. It would be very disappointing for many if black rally stripes were satin instead of glossy.

Well we knew that the black hockey stick stripe package was flat black but Camaro Scotty's parts guy just received the black rally stripes and we have confirmed that the black rally stripes are also flat black. Sorry for all of you that were hoping they were gloss black.

For anyone who would still like gloss black, TXturbo will be making them.

I was told, by local dealer that on the orange 2SS the white rally stripes had to be a dealer installed thing. Was I lied to??? Did they not order it the way I told them to? ***just an opinion*** I think the black Camaro would look great with the matte black rally stripes. anyone doing that? R6P folks have waited for long enough GM!!! Build early orders before any new dealer orders regardless of allocation. Stop treating your most loyal customers so unfairly!!!

Well I wouldn't say he was lying, perhaps ill informed. I will say he is wrong and any 2LT or 2SS can get "factory" installed white or grey rally stripes.

If this is true , why dose the build your own site at chev.com show no white or cgm rally stripes for 2LT or the 2SS , white and cgm only show up on the LS , 1LT , and 1SS not on 2SS which I ordered and had to go with silver because my dealer told me white has been discontinued on the 2SS. And on the site you can get 3 colors in the hockey strpes . Am confussed and frustrated.

If you were to spray a clear coat over the flat black ralley stripes, would they appear to be a gloss black finish? TIA!
