Oh I'll be there for a good time. It was great last year. An exact repeat anywhere else would be better than a better event at that location. It will still be fun though. Probably not compared to the Texas Camaro Revolution, but it is what it is.

Would you consider flying out? Again, just curious.
I did go to CFII (833 miles away) and did not go to CFIII (1100 miles). I was expecting to drive a great distance regardless of where CFIV was to be held. As even the First CF was held about 1200 miles from me.

I know there are a TON of factors in making the decision on the location and there will always be lots of Pros and Cons. I hope that Dallas, TX (Texas Motor Speedway) or Monterey, CA (Laguna Seca) were at least considered as IMO these would have been great alternates to having it at Indy for a second year.

If I was to go, I don't see a reason to go without the Camaro. Bringing your unique car to CF is IMO one of the greatest things about the fest, even if you don't show/track/race your car.

Then you have a shorter time to plan and prep if you do get a venue, its just a bad spot to be in. Now they can get ahead of the powercurve and plan for the future so there is some more flexibility and can actually take the Fest down to Texas or out to Las Vegas and make it a well thought out and planned Fest and not something that is thrown together in a very time limited manner. Not to mention how much that would effect the participants with leave/vacation, not everyone can get vacation on that short of notice. Personally I think it was the best thing they could have done for the Fest, at least in the long run.

Why has the Northeast never been considered? Do you know how much population is in the Northeast? I couldn't make it last year because it was too far to drive. I was hoping all areas would eventually have an opportunity to host a Camaro5Fest.

Find a drag strip with enough space to park 1000 cars AND have space for auto cross AND with a 300 room hotel in the proximity that has a huge surface parking lot and not a parking garage.

There is no place in the continental US that is out of the question and yes everything is considered. Indy is actually a pretty good choice for those in the Northeast.

You should made it out this year. The mid-Atlantic had a huge Camarovan. It wasn't a bad drive and I will be making it again this year. Actually C5Fest4 is in your backyard compare to Most folk. Be grateful for the opportunity you have.

I missed it last year because of family stuff. I may try to come out this year. It's a 8.5 hour drive for me, so not that bad. I would still love to see a Northeast C5F though.

A lot of folks consider this a Northeast fest.

Hope you can make it this time around..
