Is your dealer trying to sweet talk you to let your Camaro sit in the dealership
for a while? Well mine is! even after the snow melts! I figure i could use this to my advantage... tell them to throw in a few accesories, services, payments and they can let it sit in their showroom. My car is built and arriving within 2-3 weeks. Whats your opinion? should i negotiate something with the owner? maybe alert the media about the hottest new car and a 17 year old taking delivery of it? its good publicity and i have no problem with leaving the car there... as long as its bannered OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negotiate some kind of deal - you won't regret the money savings if you're paying for this on your own.

$100 a day might be reasonable. I wouldn't do it for nothing unless the owner is your dad!

$100 a day! i could have it paid off in a year! But i was thinking of that number as well. then middle of may i go to good ol florida for 10 days so i told them id bring it back ( if i already had it out) and they could wash it polish it annd let it sit in the room while i was gone...

I wouldn't trust them with that. I'm going to Zaino mine when I get it, and not let anyone "wash" it but me.

i would let them while your gone but i would get an agreement saying that and dents scratches the dealer has to pay and hey throw some accessories on it too for free. i think thats the best security for your car while your gone is in your dealership showroom. i would also if you decide to give it to them monitor the miles put on it lol

BUMBLEBEE SS- I'M KINDA IN THE EXACT SAME BAOT AS YOU ARE, MY CAR IS DUE IN EITHER TODAY OR TOMORROW AT MY DEALERSHIP. I'M QUITE ANXIOUS OF COURSE BUT A LITTLE TORQUED TOO BECAUSE WHEN I ORDERED MINE BACK IN OCT. I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET ANY AND ALL DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE. WELL OF COURSE NOW THAT THE CAR IS ABOUT HERE I'VE BEEN HINTING AROUND TO THEM ABOUT MY G.M.S. THAT I GET BUT THEY WON'T CONFIRM WETHER OR NOT THEY'LL GIVE IT TO ME ( I FIGURED THAT THIS B.S. WAS COMING!!!!) SO HERE I AM PONDERING... IF THEY LET IT SIT FOR 3/4 WEEKS IN THEIR SHOWROOM (ROPED OFF) MAYBE THEY'LL GIVE ME G.M.S??? WHICH I WILL CONSIDER DOING!

I am talking to my dealer about that as well. I will be gone for a week in May and I am willing to let my Camaro sit on the showroom floor. I asked that it be roped off. So no smudges. I am using it as goodwill as we go into negotiations.
