I would like to have a different mirror period. The bottom of the mirror takes up valuable windshield real-estate.

Not sure what you're referring to exactly since I can't view your video, but I feel like my mirror isn't stable enough.

What I mean by that is when I adjust the mirror the angle I want, it inevitably reverts back to its nature angle, facing lower in the car then I want. Perhaps bumps in the road are making it slowly drop down?

Anyone else have this problem?

That happens to me all the time. I noticed that the stereo bass shakes my mirror and I have to readjust probably once or twice a week.

Also, I just got a new rear-view mirror and the same happened to it. So changing your mirror won't help.

Do you usually listen to loud music?, cuz I do and that's what's causing it for me.

The mirror set screw is loose. You can tighten it with a torx or use an allen wrench. Might be a 3mm allen wrench?

Also, if you remove the wire cover, unplug the harness and turn the mirror upside down you will gain some additional under mirror visibillity. Plug the harness back in and toss the little wire cover in the glovebox (or trash).

It is glued on, sort of. There is a little pad glued on to the windshield, the mirror bracket slips over that and you tighten a small screw to hold it tight.

The mirror is very adjustable. Just push the arm between the mirror and windshield all the way up, then reset your mirror where you like it. You can probably get entirely in the blackout area of the windshield.
