The reverse hood hinge / shocks question!
Hi all, im really wanting the reverse hinge kit for my hood, but i have the VIS carbon fiber hood, i dont know if the locations would be able to hold it very well, i was curious if anyone else added the hinge kit to a carbon fiber hood, any info would be awesome! let me know.

They reverse hood kit will only work with the OEM hood and revolution style hood that I know of.

That's incorrect. Get in touch with Lupe, I did a complete write up with pics and detailed instructions on how I did it with an aftermarket hood.

If you have fab skills, there are alway's options if needed, such as bonding metal reinforcements to the hood with products such as 3m 8115 automix or even urethane glues. I used 3m windshield urethane to mount my aluminum braces to my hood.
