O2 Sensors/Kooks Headers

Does anyone know if the O2 sensors need to be removed when installing long tube headers?

They get relocated. Your PCM uses the signal from the O2 sensors so they have to be in there.

Ahhh, OK so the headers have ports for installing the sensors?

I just did kooks longtubes with off road pipes. All four o2 sensors are still used but the front 2 require the supplied extensions. To my surprise after driving around 200 miles I haven't got a CEL and the car is performing flawlessly without a tune.

Most likely yes, regardless of cats. My dad's threw a cel after 60 miles, no biggie though, does not affect performance at all, and they'll get tuned out when the car gets tuned.
