Title says it all, im trying to figure out if the stock ZL1 exhaust is a full 3" exhaust or a 2.5 like the SS?

Im hoping its a 3" since 2.5" might be too much for 1100bhp

and i really dont want to change it.

Ideas?

the Z06 and ZR1's have 3" exhausts, this sucks!

Yes it's a 2.5...if your going to give a 480rwhp car 1000+ HP then you would need to upgrade to 3+...along with many other things on the car...also COPO #001 is already on the tracks...

I didnt want to change the exhaust because I wanted to retain the stock butterfly valve functionality, I might just turn up the boost and make up for the power difference

unfortunately my car is in the US getting worked on, however ive seen one at the dealership, not sure if its still there, they look so much better in real!

I had been called in Chevy at Sheikh Zayed Road to view it, however i could not make it none the less mine is in production i guess and is due to arrive in first week of Jan. Hope its as good as its here in C5
