Prep work when applying Vinyl decals.
Besides making sure the surface is spotless, what things should we do before applying vinyl decals? heat up the surface at all or anything like that? I am putting some decals on my bowties so I am just curious, I want them to look perfect.

clean the surface with some rubbing alcohol on a micro-fibre to remove any wax or grease etc.....then take a small sray bottle filled with water add a few ( 3 ) drops of Sunlight dishsoap shake it up a bit ......spray your decal sticky side .......this will allow you to position where you want it ......once in place use a small squeegie or credit card ( wrapped with the microfibre ) and squeegie out the excess water and let dry and your good to go
