$40,000 Dilemma Suggestions

Saving for my next Camaro purchase. Need some help. Used ZL1 or 6th GEN 1SS

$40,000 Budget

A 6th Gen 1SS/1LE/RS/NPP/RECAROS/SUNROOF
MSRP $43,140 Out the Door $40,000
That is if pricing stays about the same as the 2015 5th Gens

or

Used ones are going for 42K- 45k now, by 2016 they Should be closer to 40K

Coming from a V6 what option would you take and start researching

PROS of ZL1
Great Power King of the Hill
Keep about 3K worth of Mods (Blend Mount, Amps, Subs)
Real world tested engine and available modifications

Yea, that would be cool, but I have a v6, ALL SHOW and no go.... I get plenty of attention now because of the looks, Yet I need Power, the 1SS will give me that power boost and HOPEFULLY the looks, yet he ZL1 will give me the ULTIMATE power and proven good looks.

I have over 6K in cosmetic upgrades, I love my v6 yet next time. That money will go into all Engine Modifications.

depends on what the 6th gen looks like but im thinking a 12 or 13 ZL1 will be the best of the best.

So a known quantity vs...?

The 6th gen is a Vaporware car. Yeah it's in development but we know nothing about it

If you budget is $40k and no more, then you probably won't be able to find a ZL1.

ZL1 unless the 6th Gen kicks the hell out of the 5th Gen on looks. Can't see a stock 6th Gen ss keeping up with a 5th Gen ZL1 in the performance department.

ZL1. I had a chance to drive one recently to compare with my 2SS. Loved the ZL1!

Do we know for sure that the 1LE is going to be in the immediate line up for the 6th when it comes out?

ZL1 is a great car, loads of fun! However no one is sure what the Gen6's will do. If you are patient enough, wait. There will still be used ZL1's for sale 13 months from now.

Sorry, but you won't get either one for $40K. Well, maybe the 6th Gen 1SS, but we don't know that yet. Plus... you may hate the look.
