I think I need to move out that direction. That's a pretty good looking track. Love the backdrop w/ hills and all. I swear, if I had the financial means, I'd build one of the best tracks in SA w/ 1/4 mile and an awesome road race track. I've got so many ideas, it's not funny.

Cool video, btw.

well back when I was a kid there were huge hills on both sides of the track. but right now behind the guy that's video taping the races the hill that was once there was leveled and made into a big parking lot for bristol motor speedway. and instead of the drag strip jut being refered to as thunder valley they are now refering to the whole race park as thunder valley. oh well.

Yeah, I love the hilly, mountainous terrain from out west, up north, and well...heck out in the east as well. Basically, everywhere else but here. I wouldn't level out hills to put in any parking. It kills the ambiance. Make'em park a little further. One of these days, I'll have to do a tour of all the good tracks still out there.

I'll be passing right by the track in Bristol, Tenn. next Sat. on may way to Talladega Al. for the NASCAR race next Sunday.

It's a nice area down there, but if I had my choice of a place to live, MONTANA!!!

I have some relatives out there. Haven't been, but hear it's beautiful. Oregon on the other hand....BEAUTIFUL. We would go every 4th of July and occasionally at Christmas...do some snowboarding at Mt. Hood. That's Gods country up there. I'd live there in a heartbeat.
