I would like to know what you are varying to tune the extra performance? I don't me codes, but is it timing, etc. and how does it effect mileage.

GM's timing tables are pretty close from the factory. Most of the power comes from leaning out the engines air/fuel mixture. Part throttle tuning is performed as well. Gas mileage is the same if you can keep your foot out of it!
