Rubber trunk mat for 6th Gen; Cargo net
For my 2010, I had a GM accessory rubber trunk mat from day 1. It fit great, was heavy pliable rubber and really helped keep things from sliding around. Probably added sound insulation, too.
But it seems GM doesn't have one like that for the 6th Gen. Or am I missing it? Weathertech makes one, but based on their floor mats, I think it is probably less rubber-like and more hard plastic-like. Lloyd's look great, but I think they only have carpeted ones and I like the rubber (stops water, oil, dirt, etc.). I also have a cargo web net for my 2010 and will try that in the new 2021. Anyone know already if it is sized about right to work well? Any suggestions? Thanks. Rob |

I have both a rubber trunk liner and cargo net. I got the trunk liner through the parts department at my dealer. As for the cargo net, don't waste your money on it. It is so small and barely holds anything.

The trunk liner is listed in the 2022 configurator as "All-Weather Cargo Mat" for $165.00 - appears to be GM part number 23412235 from what I can find online.

I really like the weather tech cargo liner. It's a fairly thick rubber like material and has a lip around the entire edge of the liner to prevent spills from sloshing over and down into important electrical bits underneath the trunk floor.
I show the cargo liner a bit in this video (link jumps right to the cargo liner point of video): https://youtu.be/hFOCQt1FJSE?t=334

Agreed on the cargo net. Total waste. ISO a better aftermarket version.

That’s the OEM one.
I have it and it’s very nice, matches the front/rear seats mats as well. I’ve seen someone do a cargo net mod using the OEM and aftermarket nets where it becomes almost like 3 pockets and a larger space that looks interesting I believe it was this actually, a 5th Gen net modified to fit 6th gen.
