I recently purchased a 2022 2SS, and the infotainment suite makes me want to trade the car in for a horse drawn stagecoach. I’m a bit of a techno phobe, and this system pisses me off.

1. Why does the touchscreen ask me for a password every 5 minutes?

2. When I change the SiriusXM station, it shows on the touchscreen, the gauge cluster, and the hud. That’s a dreadful waste of visual resources. Can the settings for that be changed?

3. Why does Bluetooth apple CarPlay only connect 50% of the time? Why does it fail to connect when I’m in LA traffic & I need it most?

4. Why does the volume knob on the dash have a 5 second delay for the first minute after I start the car?

1. Mine doesn't. Not sure why yours does?

2. Yes. Use the arrows on the right hand side of the steering wheel. Left arrow will bring up the pop-up that gives you the "master" choices (music, performance, information, etc). You can even display the music on the HUD if you want...

3. No clue. My Android Auto connects every time.

4. No clue. Mine works fine the moment I turn it on.


2 is PEBKAC, but 1, 3 and 4 may warrant a visit to the service center w/ gripes.

I concur with MightyBobo! Seems there is a need for a visit to your dealership :(
