Today the paint was put onto the trunk, spoiler, and front fascia...

WOW what a Merry Xmas you will have.

I'm happy to have helped a fellow camaro5 member ,to bad we can't get a picture of yours and mine side by side that would be

.What is great about your project the fact that you were able to see it all come together.I was on the road and didn't have the pleasure.Any how your car looks fantastic even apart LOL. Make sure you send me the finished product.

very cool man, just a suggestion, but you have to get your bow-ties to match the stripes!!! that would look sick

A few to tide you all over. I'd like to leave it to the car owner to show the finished car.... I had to show a few pics though, as not just the body shop, but the whole dealership just was beaming w/ pride over this job.

Ok so it's been a few VERY BUSY weeks... but what am I supposed to do... i FINALLY have my Camaro, done, to PERFECTION

I got her back, after a few minor delays, on Christmas Eve.. no skin off of my back, it made the re-delivery even better (it was my Christmas present!

)... I was working on Christmas Eve Thursday, so at lunch I left to go pick her up... after 2 hours of patiently waiting the end product and getting many congrats from the fine people at Ourisman (They were as excited as I was about it... more on that later

) I got to take her to work, where everyone was absolutely taken back by my bad ass machine (they didn't know about it either, caught a lot of people off guard

) I finished up closing up work for the night and then I got to driver her home...

It was 180 miles I had to drive at 6pm on Christmas Eve... I was en route to my Uncle's house for a party where most of my family was including Dad... I called him when I was about 15 minutes away and asked him to come outside when I got there to help me unload my car... to which he replied "what the hell do you have in your car?" I told him not to worry about it and just come help when I got there... So as I made the turn onto my Uncle's road, I called again and asked him to come outside and get ready for me, which he was already outside (perfect)... at this point I told him that I was on the road the house was on, and he said "yep I see your lights" (he thought I was in my '03 Pontiac Sunfire)... I turned into my Uncle's driveway and he said "follow the car turning into the driveway here" (he thought I was the car behind my Camaro)... I said "I am the car turning in".. He said "No you're not, those headlights are too bright to be yours... Unless you got a new car... What the HELL is this?! A... Brand new... Chevy... CAMARO!... Holy SH!T, I have to get your mother!".... BAAAHAHAHAHA! I was laughing so hard... He absolutely loved it and made such a scene... It was fantastic... He got in the passenger side and was looking at the interior and I said "You wanna drive it?" (with a smile)... He said "N.. YEAH!" I've never saw him move so quick to get into the drivers seat! So he drove it around a bit and brought it back (He got more seat time on Sunday...)

My entire family was totally impressed and excited for me

It was a surprise that definitely worked out and enjoyed every minute of my Dad's satisfaction with it...

So Sunday after Christmas, I got a really nice day to clean it up... The following are Sunday pics with the car, me, and my dad...

The more on the Ourisman Rockmont story, as promised....

They all loved the stripes and the job that Brandi and Pele did with the design, that they are now painting at least one Camaro on the lot with these same stripes... I wish their body shop all the best and hope this generates lots of acclaim for them... Brandi is amazing at what she does there... she is absolutely wonderful to deal with... and given the opportunity I would use their body shop for anything custom... There is a lot of love and care in the work that they do and I can not say enough for her and the job that she does there... I do hope that there are a few more Camaros in the pipeline for her to paint as well... These stripes are AMAZING!!! Thanks again to Frank Marinucci for being the connection on the forum to make all of this happen, and thank you sir for taking pictures that day! Feel free to post some more on this thread... you have the originals...

I have a friend with a HD camera and one with a HD camcorder, so I am going to try and get some sweet photos and videos done with this thing... I love it so much!

I did enjoy seeing it all from beginning to end... There was a lot of love in this car...
