Lot of things going on at the moment, And hope to have it working soon, need to make a new PNP harness to test with, and will do it this coming week need some Wires and for that i need to drive to L.V. this weekend.
I see. I didn't realize that the Camaro camera/mirror was so different from other GM vehicles.

I wonder if the GM camera that you've been getting from trucks would install into the 2012 Camaro's factory bracket?

No it will not, i got the camera working in the 2012 not new mirror, and its is 3 parts you need the camera that come in a bracket, Then you need the 2nd bracket, and this is the hard one at this time and that is the other side of the harness for the camera.

So if you want PNP we need to find that connector or cut out that connector and go with soldering, but its not cheap your looking at $170 for that camera at list.

Is there a wireless camera so you don't have to run all these wires?

Ofer - the part number that I got from my local parts department is 22767362

It's simply called a "Module" and the parts guy said it included both the camera and the bracket.

On gmpartsdirect.com, it sells for $84.17, which is reasonable if this is the correct assembly.

There is a second bracket you need, I know my parts Guy did the same.

The second bracket is the one to fill the hole in the bumper, the camera screws in to that one.

In this pic you see the camera and bracket, This is the parts you ordered.

In this Pic is the second bracket you need to hold the camera in place.

So got the camera to work on my kit, picture is the same as the cameras the lines do not come with the camera, So it must be with the mirror.

Now to get the mirror working more to come.

Same here, Ofer for those of us that bought your first harness, can we get the 2012 factory brackets and camera and just connect the camera to our existing power and video connection?
