Why not go 7500 miles on one oil change, as long as the DIC says you have oil life left? I've confirmed, to my satisfaction, the effectiveness of both the OLM and synthetic oil by actually sending in a sample of my used oil to Blackstone Labs for analysis.

Have you?

What? Mine? They recommended I try going 10,000 miles next time and to resubmit a sample at that time. I had 9300 miles on the one I sent in.

Let's just wait for everybody to chime in with how dumb I am for listening to a testing lab, though.

Have used testing commercially for 30 years on Industrial trucks saved thousands of dollars in not needed fluid changes! Never had a lube failure!
