Very disappointing to see some semi-synthetic blends on there.

Why? Not everyone wants or need to use full synthetic.

Because I have 2 years free oil changes with my car and only want full synthetic but the dealer can use whatever's on that list.

Got ya. Prior to the 2013's the SS used to come with Mobil 1 so your changes would have been Mobil 1. Maybe you can talk to your dealer about that.

If they don't go for it you'll get the ACDelco synthetic blend.

A dealer can use an approved oil. It does not have to be the AC Delco nor the Mobil 1. The dealer closest to my house uses Penzoil Platinum as there bulk oil. You can request other brands and they will use it, for an upcharge. Your going to get the bulk during a freebe oil change unless you ask for something differant and are willing to pay the differance.

My point was if you don't ask you'll get AC Delco blend.

Just know that if you use RP and if you need warranty work on the engine they can deny your claim if they find your using a non certified oil.

Gotcha, well, they may deny my claim anyway since I have my car tuned. Or what do you think?

I've always been a hardcore Royal Purple fan, so it'll be hard for me to switch. I just don't care for the MOBIL brand.

Yeah, the list has grown a lot as more brands complete the certification process...

Some food for thought on Dexos approved semi-synthetic...... Dexos is a trademarked GM formulation exclusive to GM and not the API. GM released the Dexos formula to the oil manufacturers so there was never a monopoly issue. It's the oil companies choice whether they want to make their oils Dexos approved. Dexos is nothing more than a re-engineered additive package. The primary purpose of the change is for ash control. If you get the GM branded Dexos from the dealer, you are getting a semi-synthetic blend oil that is made by XOM. A semi-synthetic most commonly only has 15-30% synthetic oil in it and the rest is plain ol dino oil.
