New grille

Swapped the stock grille for a z/28 style and upgraded the fog lights to led. Separating old grille from fascia is a pain. That and two bolts up high under the fenders took the most time.

Car had been down all winter for some changes. Changed the Pistons, Rods, and bearings. We swapped in some 2" Kooks LT's for the 1-7/8" that were in there before. Still have a Mamo MSD Intake, 3.91 differential, LPW Cover and diff bushings to do, but we were able to fire it up the other day.

I was looking at the Z/28 replicas of theirs and passed right over those. I’m gettin serious now. I decided against the Z’s. TOO much open air.

Put the cap back on the resivor and have never had a bit of trouble it since and did the same thing to my sons camaro no problems. Bought a new billet cap did the same thing to it and no problems in 9 years.

Thanks for the tip. The new reservoir snaps a little tighter, but not as tight as I expected. Will implement your solution at the first sign of trouble. I think I'm gonna retire the billet cap, if for no other reason than it absolves GM, at least from their perspective.

Holy crap. That is possibly the best sounding lope/exhaust combo I have heard.

Man, that sounds amazing.
