Is there really that big of a difference with feel? Cause I really want to order this but have been putting it off.

Is that the factory hurst or hurst's own version. I know the recduction is different between the two. Twenty something % vs forty something %

That is the Billet/Plus II, also know as the aftermarket Hurst, and features a 44% throw reduction over the standard shifter. The factory option Hurst is only a 22% reduction.

Oh to answer your question, I LOVE IT. It is so much better then the stock shifter. I recommend it highly. Plus if your a car enthusiast like me it gives it an old school look to. The guys at the Chevy dealership were blown away when they saw it.

The stock shifter felt rubbery and disconnected from the transmission in comparison to my Hurst. The Hurst also makes the shift gate more evident and gives me more confidence in every gear. Don't forget about the shorter throws too. If you are a car enthusiast, this is a must-have mod!!!!

Been contemplating getting this for mine. I don't ever plan to take Angel to the track. Is it worth installing on a DD?
