So, did you post your wrap removal experience in the forums? How was it? How was the paint underneath? Any risks or issues?

Pictures in my build thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261504
No real issue with removing, minimal glue left behind on mine...my buddy who helped me get it off said to take off before sooner than later to avoid any issues getting off, so pulled in the first week I had it...Paint underneath was shiny gloss....

Just checked it out. Cool. About your friend ..,, does he work with vinyl normally? Do you think anyone could pull it off themselves?

Yes, my buddy runs a sign shop...but no special skill required to get this off...I just left the Camaro sitting in the sun, then opened the hood and we started at the drivers side and slowly peeled the edge from under the hood, once we went all the way from front to back of hood on that one side, then slowly started pulling and took it off in mostly one big piece, once we got it started, was pretty fast to take off and minimal glue left behind so just washed it after and looked never was on there.

It will be a long week for you, but it's such a sweet ride you'll forget all about the wait when you go for that first drive.

Me too. Got the call. Went and saw it today! Splitter inside the car. Oil separate in the trunk. I started it up. Yah, baby!

Do you feel the pain under the hood is brighter than the rest of the car or the same? I'd imagine it'd be the same.

The paint is the same, but if you leave the wrap on for a while, that may be an issue....
