Camaro King LA

I just gotta say, this guy truly is the Camaro King. If you're in the SOCAL area and love 4th gen F-bodies, swing by United Motors. Some of the most amazing 4th gens I've seen, let alone sat in. Next time I go by I'll get some better pics, but here are a couple cell shots I got last time I was in Sylmar.

02 Camaro SS. This track-ready sleeper gets the front wheels off the ground, and had my ears ringing for the next two days.

Pontiac Firehawk vert. The most immaculate F-Body I've ever seen. Literally NO nut or bolt was passed over- this thing is surreal.

Shoe'n up my car.

Only the best work in this shop. www.camarokingla.com

Shameless plug I know, but I've had nothing but a great experience with CamaroKing, thought I'd let you guys in on it. They really go above and beyond the call of duty to put out immaculate, low mileage F-bodies.

Noice. I've heard good and bad things about them. I almost visited them, but I found a killer deal on my car at another lot.

Any bad stuff you've heard is just noise, I know firsthand it's quality work.

They've got 2 35th anniversary SLP convertibles I'm dying to have- my 4th gen dream car right there...

I've heard the same...a really bad thread got started in the Western forum on ls1tech and got blown way out and has had a tough time since then but I think things have died down some. Some of the area tuners have came to his defence recently so it's helped his rep recover some. Haven't been there personally myself and does look to have some nice cars in his showroom. The big gripe was he was converting Camaro's and Z28's to SS' and inflating the price when in fact they weren't really an SS but was selling them as if they were an actual SS. Also adding LE stripes blah blah blah and some folks got bent. You just need to car fax and/or run the vin's.

With that being said, nothing wrong with converting, guys do it all the time, you just need to disclose that at the time of sale.

Long Live the King..!!

Eeexactly. Do your homework before you go shopping, you won't have a problem. Those guys have no one to blame but themselves.

He was more than up front about the status of each car, even showed me how to check the vin, and had no problem allowing me to check the RPO codes on the cars. Mine's a true SS (while not an LE, obviously) and I couldn't be happier.

I remember that LS1tech thread, and most of the negative stuff was hearsay- one poster was actually a customer that had failed to make payments had to give up his car...

In my experience though- if you don't have some critics, you're doing something wrong...
