Paint Flecks inside car - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I picked up my IOM 2012 camaro last week, and on the first day found a few flecks of paint on the door sill, then yesterday a few more on my floormat. They are pretty good size, I cant take pics b/c I cleaned them up. I dont see any missing paint at all of the door or in the sill area. Anyone else ever had or heard of this problem? Could it possibly be from the painted hinge and its just breaking off as the door is opened and closed.....

You picked it up new? Sound like damage on delievery and they repaired it and from the sounds of it, had to do paint work. Just my 2 cents. was it the same color as your car???

Dont think it was damage since i pickd the car up a few hours after it came in. Its dried paint chips and only on the driver door that I have been repeatedly opening. Im thinking its the painted door hinge rubbing together and stripping paint off, but not completely sure. I see no chips anywhere.
