Painting them really isn't that hard to do....just clean them good and mask them up. The caliper paint the sell at the autoparts stores has actually done some of my buddies really well in the past. Give it a shot!

I painted my v6 calipers and I think they look great. I thought they'd look weird since they're kind of small, but I love them. I used orange/red engine paint which closely matches IOM and put 3 coats on them after cleaning them. Someone on the site suggested using aluminum foil instead of tape or newspaper and it worked awesome since you can stuff it into the small spots and mold it around other parts. Then I just draped an old towel over the brake lines and draped a few towels to cover the body and it was simple. I did two on a Saturday night and the other two on a Sunday night when it was going to sit over night to dry. I'd attach a pic but I left my camera at work.
