Alternatives to PZero

I seen a thread that listed sizes for continental
Tires. The width at 11.8 inches. Was there any rub?
Do you have to cut the wheel wells?
My 21" PZeros sit inside my rear wheel fender.

My 21" PZeros sit inside my rear wheel fender.
Front 245 / 35 / 21 (27.8" tall x 9.8" Section width)
Continental Rear 295 / 30 / 21 (28.0" tall x 11.9" Section width)

The rears are 11.9" and no cutting required and no rubbing issues at all. Erica went thru first set of Conti rears in 14 months and 20K miles but she's hards on tires if you get my drift. Had another set of Conti rears ordered from 1010 tires . com for $224 each which is an awesome price.

Here's the downside...Conti has discontinued the size.

Great tires compared to the PZeros.

Ride is a bit sharper

Turn-in is quicker

Road noise is about the same as the PZeros

Speedometer appears to read 1 mph higher than actual speed with the PZeros (before and after testing done with GPS)

I rather the look of the PZeros regarding the sidewall height etc. These would be even better as 40's in the front and 35's-40's in the rear but for the money savings, the Continentals are great at half the price of the PZeros.
Wouldn't that 1 mph difference cause the odometer to go up faster also? could you get a dealership to recalibrate that without voiding the warranty? also, will a dealership even mount these considering the difference in size?

1 mph difference is nothing to be concerned about and i'd use someone other than the dealer.

sigh well saw the thread and got excited.
but if they are discontinued not worth the effort.
guess it's either a rim change or Vredistiens at 330 each

If you need them in the near future, contact 1010 tires . com as they should still stock them.... for now.

You're scaring me that my tread life is a fluke man.

I'm ordering new PZero's right now since I got 38k out of mine (SS v8, that's a good amount of commuting 17 mile each way to work every day).
